Bio
At a young age, I realized that I was able to express myself through art in a way that I could not with words. I started using oil paints and their malleability enable me to explore color, forms and abstractions to create and express my ideas.
Through my work I try to express that things are not always what they seem; that we each have two selves: the outside self that is perceived by the outside world, and our true self, the one that only we know as who we truly are. I often use animals as a source of inspiration because I feel that they are always true to themselves and it is the beauty that comes from understanding their essence that I try to convey in my pieces.
